size
Mini computers have a compact nature, which is their advantage, so we look for a mini computer size that does not deviate from this initial nature; at least no more than 8 by 8 inches and no more than 3 inches high.
Storage
We defined the preferences of our main storage configuration early on; we need to use a solid state drive rather than a hard drive. The rotating fan on the hard drive will hinder the performance speed of the mini computer. So we determined a minimum of 256GB SSD or nothing.
RAM
Mini computers are mostly used to perform basic tasks, and according to the computer geeks in our team, 8GB RAM is the minimum option to accommodate it properly.
cpu
We pay attention to the tasks that are generally performed by mini-desktops, of which the 10th or 11th generation Intel Core i5 and AMD Ryzen are our main CPUs to accommodate them.
Energy efficient
As you know, mini computers excel in energy efficiency because mini desktop processors do not consume as much power as an all-in-one computer.
Price versus quality
The Mini table size is smaller than the all-in-one not inferior to it in terms of price. Even with the upgrade space available in the mini PC, you can have quality that surpasses all-in-ones and is also more expensive.
noise
Because of the smaller size of the all-in-one, the mini PC fan will be a more audible thing. However, most of our options are designed to have unobtrusive noise.
Power
Even when used for heavy work, Mini computers are more powerful.
USB ports
In general, mini PCs will provide at least four ports, of which good mini PC models will offer USB Type-C to Thunderbolt ports.
Compatibility with keyboards/mouse/audio setup
Given that you have to provide your own keyboard, monitor, mouse, and even audio accessories, we made sure to go with models that offer wide compatibility. Our select mini computers provide ports for keyboard, mouse and headphones.
Use of a computer
In general, mini computers can be relied upon to perform everyday tasks such as handling word processing documents, editing photos and videos, and playing simple games like Minecraft.
