Tacoma police are hoping the public can identify the suspects in the drive-by shooting.

Detectives say that on Oct. 2 at 7:38 p.m., a white Volkswagon Jetta and a gray Honda Accord were loitering in the parking lot of Billy B’s Tavern at 1213 S 56th Street.

In the photo, a red Honda Civic stopped at a traffic light in front of the parking lot, and people in a white Jetta and a gray Accord opened fire on it. The passenger in the red Civic returned fire.

Detectives are seeking information on all vehicles involved, as well as the shooter and other occupants of the vehicle.

Lacey police are looking for credit card thieves

Lacey police need the public’s help finding three suspects accused of using or attempting to use stolen credit cards in Lacey and Olympia.

Investigators say credit cards were stolen from victims during a carjacking at Eagle’s Pride Golf Course.

Suspect arrested for 40th time in Bellingham drug bust

Bellingham police say they have arrested a drug dealer and seized more than 2,000 suspected fentanyl pills.

According to Bellingham police, just before midnight on Oct. 19, an officer spotted a blue Ford Ranger near Telegraph and Meridian Streets.

Police say the person in the truck was known to officers because she had warrants for her arrest. The suspect saw the police officer and attempted to park his vehicle and walk away from the truck when he saw the police car. The officer followed the suspect and he was arrested on his warrants.

Police found more than 132.5 pills of suspected fentanyl, $87 in cash, 2.5 grams of fentanyl powder and 5 grams of methamphetamine from the suspect.

K-9 Prowl alerted officers to the odor of drugs in the Ford Ranger. The police obtained a search warrant and found in the truck:

  • 1,963.5 pills of suspected fentanyl (commonly known as “blue”)
  • 8 buprenorphine hydrochloride tablets
  • $16,807 in US currency seized as drug proceeds
  • 1 Walther pistol

The suspect was charged with four counts: possession of prohibited substances for the purpose of delivery, illegal possession of firearms and prohibited counterfeit substances.

Police say at least one of his warrants was also held with intent to deliver from 2020. In that case, he was found to be in possession of five-plus ounces of heroin, 12+ grams of heroin, 319 suspected fentanyl pills and $899 in cash.

This suspect has been arrested by BPD 39 times before for crimes such as burglary, theft, trespassing, obstruction, drug violations and warrants. He is currently in jail on $190,000 bail.

Everett apartment manager finds $1.5 million worth of drugs

According to a news release from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, $1.5 million worth of drugs were seized from an Everett apartment.

The apartment manager was processing an eviction when they discovered drugs in the apartment on Wednesday, October 19.

The Snohomish Regional Narcotics Task Force seized thousands of grams of heroin, fentanyl powder and pills, cocaine, more than 21,000 grams of methamphetamine, and more than 100 gallons of ethanol.

A person of interest has been identified, the case is ongoing.

Seattle police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a 66-year-old woman

Police are seeking help locating a dark-colored sedan involved in the death of a south Seattle woman Friday night.

A car is believed to have struck and killed a 66-year-old woman on Rainier Avenue S near S Walden Street around 7:15 p.m.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the driver or the vehicle are asked to contact Seattle Police.
