Lewis Capaldi and more nominated for Specsavers Scottish Music Awards

The star is in with a chance of scooping the Raymond Weill Global Artist of the Year award at the annual event, which celebrates the best of Scottish music.

Taking place on the night of Saturday, November 5, the night will feature artists such as Pete & Diesel, Ewan McVicar, Tamzin and Gunn.

Also featuring Wait Wait Wait, Brooke Combs, Amy McDonald and Bo Anderson.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Barrowland Ballroom, raising vital funds for music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.

“Remember getting my first trophy there in 2017. It was a pivotal moment for me in everything that has happened since then.

“To be nominated for the fourth time this year means a lot and to once again support Nordoff Robbins and all the work they do is always incredible.”

  • Luis Capaldi – Raymond Weill Global Artist of the Year Award
  • Pete & Diesel – Royal Highland Center Sound of Scotland Awards
  • Tamzene – VEGA Rising Star Award
  • The View – Rocks ‘Diamonds and Thrills’ Special Recognition Award
