The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the 2022 Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) on April 9, the results of which have not yet been released. The MBA entrance test is held in one shift from 3pm to 6pm at several test centers across the country. CMAT is a national level test which is held in online mode.
The Common Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as the CMAT, is administered for admission to a management program or course in the country. This test facilitates AICTE affiliates, participating institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Course at that Institution.
With the conclusion of the CMAT exam, students look forward to knowing their 2022 CMAT percentiles and the colleges from which they can seek MBA admission. How Are CMAT Percentiles Calculated?
CMAT percentile scores are calculated based on rank vs total number of candidates. The formula for calculating the CMAT percentile is:
Percentile P = 100 x Number of candidates appearing in the exam with raw scores equal to or less than candidates/Number of candidates appearing
For example, if about 10,000 candidates appear on the CMAT and one candidate gets the highest score (350/400). Since they scored the highest on the exam, their rank would be 1 and the CMAT percentile score would be: 100 x 9999/10,000= 99.99
