With the next World of Warcraft expansion less than a month away, Blizzard has announced that you can pick up some in-game goodies through dragon flight (opens in a new tab) Twitch drops—and one of those items is a rare Moncard game mount, the Feldrake.
It’s not like this mountain just has a chance to fall too; it’s guaranteed, as long as you spend the requisite time watching Dragonflight content on Twitch.
If you’re not familiar with the WoW card game, you could get “special” versions of normal cards, offering codes to redeem unique in-game cosmetics. Since there was only a slim chance of getting one of these cards, the mounts and pets you could get from the TCG would end up going for hundreds of dollars in places like Ebay (opens in a new tab).
It’s great that everyone now has a chance to get their hands on one of the TCG mounts, but it has to sting for anyone who has spent the money on the TCG card before. However, I won’t say no to a free Feldrake mount.
As well as the TCG mount you can earn other cool cosmetics, like pets and toys, in the coming months too, just by watching your favorite streamer play Dragonflight—assuming they’ve enabled the drops on their Twitch channel.
This is the Dragonflight Twitch drop (opens in a new tab) phases:
- Phase 1: Take a look four hours of Dragonflight content
- Reward: Dragon Kite’s pet
- Start Time: November 15th, 10:00 am PST
- End Time: November 17th, 11:59 PM PST
- Phase 2: Take a look four hours of Dragonflight content
- Reward: Feldrake mountain
- Start Time: November 28th, 10:00 am PST
- End Time: November 30, 11:59 PM PST
- Phase 3: Take a look two hours of Dragonflight content
- Reward: Eternal Purple fireworks toy
- Start Time: December 13th, 10:00 am PST
- End Time: December 28th, 11:59 PM PST
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is set to arrive on November 28, although the pre-flaika (opens in a new tab) is now live if you want to check out the new class talent trees and UI revamp.
