The user has fully presented the details and the instructions are quite simple to follow:

1. Fire up Modern Warfare 2.
2. Go to the main game ‘Settings’.
3. Choose ‘Interface’.
4. Now go to where it says “Parallax Effects” and change it to ‘OFF’.
5. You should hopefully no longer experience the Scan and Repair problems on PC.

We should note that Paradox Customs prefaced their method by saying, “This isn’t 100% effective, but it’s working for us so far!”

So it is by no means a guarantee that it will work for you, but it is a possible solution for the time being until something more permanent is discovered.
