The 9th SMARTIES Awards – a prestigious competition for the leaders of brands, agencies and technology providers in modern marketing – has a long history, bringing home three regional awards (South AmericaAsia-Pacific and EMEA) and ten country awards, incl Vietnam.

This year, SMARTIES Vietnam 2022 innovated its screening and evaluation process, resulting in a 140% increase in applications compared to the previous year. The SMARTIES jury selected more than 100 outstanding campaigns to compete in the most prestigious categories.

Journey to the most prestigious SMARTIES award VIETNAM 2022 year

In the first round of pre-selection, the 60 pre-selection participants had to work very hard for 2 weeks to find the finalists, requiring that they themselves not be allowed to judge the campaign coming from their company.

Heading down to the final round, the 23 judges deliberated together on Jury Day to determine the winners of the gold, silver and bronze prizes in each category, most notably the competition’s most prestigious award, the Industry Award, led by Knowledge Partner, Kantar.

After more than 12 hours, each award received the consent of at least 50% of the jury to be included in the list of winners. “Hit” campaigns on SMARTIES VIETNAM In 2022 there was also an opportunity to enter the Industry Awards categories: Most Sustainable Brand of the Year, Publisher of the Year, Creative Agency of the Year, Agency of the Year, Best Show/Grand Prix, Brand of the Year and “Marketer” year.
