The preload date, file size and PC system requirements for Sega’s upcoming Sonic Frontiers have been revealed.

In addition to the updated PC system requirements on Steam, database entries for the preload date, download size and the most recent update for the PS4 and PS5 versions of Sonic Frontiers have been revealed via PlayStation Game Size.

Sonic Frontiers is an upcoming 3D platformer developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. After Sonic, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Amy Rose get separated while falling through a wormhole, the player takes on the role of Sonic the Hedgehog and explores the enigmatic Starfall Islands to collect the Chaos Emeralds. The first open world of the series, where players solve puzzles to collect items, fight robotic enemies and incorporate platforming and classic Sonic elements such as rings and grinding rails.
