Vidal Riley will return to action at Manchester Stadium on November 12, live on Sky Sports.

The rising cruiserweight prospect will meet undefeated contender Ross McGuigan on Natasha Jonas’ unification world title card with Marie-Eve Dicaire.

Riley, coming off the standout Jone Volau, returns to the AO Arena, where he made his UK debut earlier this year defeating Willbeforce Shihepo.

Viddal Riley gave confidence after defeating Jone Volau in just 51 seconds and said he promised to put on a show.

“My career continues on November 12 in Manchester,” said Riley, “Ross McGuigan has not won and he will do his best to continue that, but I know my level and I will show it all come in night.”

But McGuigan warned, “I’m excited to fight Vidal Riley.

“I really hope to show my skills on a big platform with Sky Sports and BOXXER, where I plan to introduce myself to the rest of the crew.”

Since turning professional in 2018 Riley, the 2014 Team GB Youth Olympian, has enjoyed a flawless start to life and has built a huge following across social media. He intends to lay down a brand for the heavyweight division.

BOXXER CEO and founder Ben Shalom said: “Viddal is a talented boxer, who is still young and should be taken seriously.

“Viddal understands the importance of improving his craft, training, sparring, watching, listening and learning the traditional way.

“Undefeated at 6-0, Viddal has established himself in goal with every opponent and understands that hard work will lead him to win the indoor title in 2023, with his focus on the world title on the line. .”

Also, on the November 12 card, Dylan Cheema will try to extend his unbeaten streak when he fights Jordan Ellison.

Cheema became the BOXXER Series champion in April when he defeated Rylan Charlton. The Coventry fighter is expecting to have a group of supporters cheering him on in Manchester.

Oldham middleweight Jack Kilgannon will be keen to put on a show for the home fans as he steps into the undercard.

Welterweight prospect Clark Smith, Natasha Jonas’ free agent, will be competing in his hometown as well.
