Sonny Bill Williams says preparing for a boxing match is more professional than preparing for a Rugby World Cup or NRL final.
Williams continues his stellar career as a pugilist, boasting a perfect professional record of 9-0 since his debut in 2009.
He won two World Cups with the All Blacks to go with two NRL titles with the Bulldogs and Roosters.

The 37-year-old will fight MMA legend Mark Hunt in Sydney on November 5 and reflected on his new career in an interview with Stan Sport.
“It’s what happens in the locker room,” Williams said.
“It’s more intense than before an All Blacks or NRL World Cup grand final. Just because you can sit there and look around and see the boys, your teammates are in the same emotion.

“But you can also rely on them, look, think ‘Oh man, there is a world class player next to me, this person gives me confidence.’
“But it’s just in your boxing ring, nobody, you can look over there and say, ‘Oh bro, keep pushing this set and make me this boot, or I’m going to get a little winded here.'” I have leg pain, can you take this kick?’
“There’s none of that – it’s you and you alone. There’s that edge there because it’s about to go down. So before Barry (Hall) fought, yeah, it was like that for sure.”
