Olympic champion Hebert Conceicao is confident his sparring partner Anderson Silva will defeat Jake Paul on Saturday night.
Brazilian UFC fighter Silva is the latest fighter to accept a challenge from YouTuber-turned-boxer, Paul, with two fights in Glendale, Arizona.
Conceicao and Silva shared a boxing coach and trained together to prepare for their bout.
Silva will face Paul this weekend before Conceição, the middleweight champion from Tokyo 2020, makes his UK debut at Probellum Sheffield on Friday, November 11.
“Anderson is very strong, and I think he will beat Jake Paul by playing,” said Conceição.
“Jake Paul is a YouTuber but you can see he’s also a boxer. It’s going to be a tough fight, but Anderson Silva is going to win by knockout!”
Training with Anderson Silva is very good. It’s nice to talk to him, he’s a good person, a good friend, a good person. He is a dedicated player, all the time – he is confident in this fight.
“This fight is big news in our country, and I’m commenting on the TV fight in Brazil.”

And the 24-year-old, a hero in his own country, can’t wait to show his skills to the British fans in Sheffield on November 11.
“It will be a great experience to fight in the UK. The UK is a country with great boxers and it will be good for my career for the great British boxing fans to see me on the field and meet new fighters. many people in this game.
“I believe the British boxing fans will like my style and I will always come and win with the kicks. I want to put on a great show for the fans.”
