Promoter Eddie Hearn has dismissed the chances of his fighter, Derek Chisora, having a chance to defeat Tyson Fury on December 3rd in London.
The Matchroom boss, currently under fire for his part in Conor Benn’s drug testing scandal, found time to comment on a fight he was not involved in on the night.
However, after Hearn and Frank Warren questioned whether Chisora should retire after recently suffering a twelfth loss, the “WAR” man returned to the world title.
At Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title against his good friend, who has beaten him twice.
Hearn is confident that the result will be direct despite his relationship with Chisora.

“It’s hard because Derek is my friend. But obviously I saw the reaction of the crowd and how disappointed they were in the fight,” Hearn told Betfred’s Lightweight Boxing Show.
“The fact that Tyson beat Derek twice already makes the fight more expensive in that respect.
“Tyson Fury was always going to take the ‘easy’ fight for December 3, finally. We thought that it would be Manuel Charr. But when it was met with such rudeness from the social media, they went with Derek Chisora Instead.
“If Tyson had never beaten Derek twice, then two Brits going head-to-head is an understandable choice. People are upset about this fight because it’s something they don’t want.”

Regarding Chisora’s injury to win, Hearn added: “Del Boy always comes out.
“He is coming into the fight after his win against Kubrat Pulev. He will give everything in this fight.”
As for whether Fury vs Chisora will sell out the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Hearn concluded: “They said they’ve already sold 50,000 tickets, so I believe the fight will sell out the stadium.
“Tyson Fury is a big name. People know who Derek Chisora is [due to his platform with Matchroom].
“It’s amazing, December 3rd without a roof. But us Brits are a bit crazy and think it’s funny, so we’ll turn it around anyway.
“They’re going to need a stronger card because I don’t think it’s going to destroy the payment information, but it could be worse.
“If Tyson was going to fight Manuel Charr, then maybe no one would show up.”
