By Charles Brown: Dillian Whyte has revealed he is still upset about not getting a title shot when Deontay Wilder held the WBC heavyweight belt from 2015 to 2020.

It’s all water under the bridge now. Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) does not hold the WBC belt, and Whyte has been beaten in two of the last three fights.

To say that Whyte’s career is hanging on by a sliver it will be a true statement. Hence, ‘Body Snatcher’ Whyte’s decision to face American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin next on November 26th instead of an experienced contender like Joe Joyce, Frank Sanchez, or Filip Hrgovic.

“I heard that Wilder still doesn’t want to fight me. He’s the biggest fraud in all of sports, never mind boxing,” said Dillian Whyte to the Dailymail.

He has not fought his first opponent for more than four years and he said he was the greatest of all time? He hasn’t beaten anyone yet. He’s just a coward,” Whyte said.

As you can see here, Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) has a hard time letting go. So instead of forgetting about Wilder’s years of neglect, Whyte is replaying the movie in his head and is very bitter about it.

Instead of Whyte bellyaching about not getting a title shot against Wilder, he should be worried about his recent losses to Tyson Fury & 40-year-old Alexander Povetkin.

Whyte was the #1 contender with the WBC for the last four years of Wilder’s reign, but interestingly, he was never made mandatory because of his decision. NOT to face Luis ‘King Kong’ Ortiz when the United Nations ordered the Whyte-Ortiz fight.

It is puzzling why Whyte chose not to face Ortiz to earn a spot ticket to challenge Wilder for the WBC crown. At the time, many boxing fans felt that Whyte lacked the confidence to face the dangerous Cuban talent, Ortiz.

So, Wilder ignored Whyte, and rightly so, because he didn’t want to get his title shot and wanted it to be given to him based on being #1 with the WBC.

“This man is an actor. Everything he does is work. Even when you lied at the press conference the other dayI was like: “You’re just making me sick, you piece of s***,” Whyte said.
