In the first round, Schofield was all over Rosas, pushing him to the canvas and later warning him with a blow to the back of the head. After continuing to land unanswered punches, Schofield dropped him on the canvas with a left hook to the ribs as referee Ray Corona called a stoppage without a count.

In the co-main event former WBA Mini champion Anabel “Avispa” Ortiz, 33-5 (4), #108, of Mexico City, MEX, defeated WBA Int’l Mini champion Maria “La Imparable” Mocheo Santizo, 10-2 ( 6), #106 ½, of Guatemala City, Guatemala, round 8.

In the first round, Santizo had the upper hand and Ortiz came back and took the second in the fifth round, knocking out Santizo. In the seventh round Ortiz used a good right to take control of the fight. In the eighth and final round, the terrorist Ortiz continued to land on Santizo. The referee was Thomas Taylor.

The scores were 79-73, 78-74 and 78-75 with a 79-73 from this writer.

Super Welter Eric Tudor age 20, 6-0 (5), #153 ½, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, stunned and stopped Ramon Marquez, 5-3 (5), #145 ½, of Tucson, AZ, at 2:41 of the 6th round.

In the second round Tudor dropped Marquez’s nose and got a chance to body drop Marquez for an 8 count from referee Thomas Taylor. Two seconds later two left hooks to the body dropped Marquez for another 8 count. Seconds later referee Tudor Taylor stopped the bout.

20 Super Feather Joshua “El Americano” Garcia, 6-0 (3), #130, of Moreno Valley, CA, defeated Christian “El Nino” Lorenzo, 3-4 (1), #128, of LA , CA , over 4 step round.

In the first two rounds the work was even. In the third and fourth rounds he was close to Garcia possibly taking him out on the bigger Lorenzo who returned to the ring after a seven year layoff in his second fight this year. The referee was Ray Armendariz.

Scores were 40-36, 39-37 twice as the author did.

In the first round, after scoring three goals in the first round, Estrada forced the second round easily and won the first round. In the second and third rounds, Estrada went around Gonzalez, who did not make it easy for Estrada, although he did not win.

In the fourth and final round Estrada hunted a lot with his right instead of going to the body he went farther the first time against Gonzalez who had the better round. The referee is Ray Corona.

Scores were 38-38 and 40-36 twice as per the author.
