Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) has been out of the ring for almost a year, and hasn’t faced a major opponent at 135 since his loss to former heavyweight champion Teofimo Lopez in 2020.
Unsurprisingly, Arum isn’t sure if Lomachenko will be ready to take on Haney. If not, then it’s safe to say the two will never fight because Devin is moving soon, probably in his next fight.
While Arum would like to fight Haney vs. Lomachenko while Devin still signed with Top Rank, that he is doubtful if that will happen.
