Anthony Joshua Vs. Dillian Whyte II Likely For January Or February Says Eddie Hearn | Biden News

By Jack Tiernan: Eddie Hearn says Anthony Joshua’s next fight will be in January or February, possibly against Dillian ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte.

Hearn stated that Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) said he wants a rematch with Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) next. However, Whyte, 35, still needs to win on November 26th against the American Jamaine Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs) on DAZN at Wembley Arena in London.

According to Hearn, Whyte is “Perhaps a bit ahead” for the next fight, Joshua won the Franklin fight on November 26 without losing. Another option for Joshua is Otto Wallin.

Whyte lost in the sixth round to Tyson Fury last April, and needs a big win over Franklin in November to make him Joshua’s opponent.

Maybe January or February is where we’re lookingEddie Hearn told DAZN The Boxing Show about when Anthony Joshua will fight next.

“About the names, talk to him a few days ago. he wants to fight Dilian Whyte, really. Dillian Whyte fights on November 26 [Jamaine] Franklin, who is speaking wonderfully, and we’ll see how that goes.

“I think Dillian Whyte is the best [for Joshua] when he comes through. Otto Wallin is a man who has reached many times. Fighting is also good for him.

“And then there’s the Wilder situation. I’m not saying it’s going to be a January or February fight, but it’s definitely a fight he’s looking at. AJ’s pleasure is the rate, and by the way, none of them are easy to say, tune-up rates are sometimes as dangerous as each other.

“I don’t hear it [Joshua] he wants to start out of the top 15 and top 10 of the management agencies and just look for easy touches. I think he likes real fights, and these are all real fights that you can see.

“I’m not happy about it because I got most of the blame,” Hearn said when asked if he was excited about Joshua’s fight with Tyson Fury on December 3. Maybe it’s not the right time. But as soon as he picked up the bat, he remembered that this was the fight he wanted. The decision is made,” Hearn said.
