Toronto’s The Weeknd are the top finalists for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards for the second year in a row, with 17 awards, followed by Doja Cat with 14.

Finalists were announced Friday in 62 categories for the awards, which measure chart success, streaming, airplay and social engagement.

The show will take place on May 15 in Las Vegas.

The Weeknd received nods in the categories for Top Artist, Top 100 Artist and Top Streaming Song Artist and his duet with Ariana Grande. Save Your Tears (Remix) Six awards are up for grabs.

Also nominated for top artist are Doja Kat, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Drake, who is the show’s most decorated winner of all time with a total of 29 awards.
