The 2022 CMT Awards aired for the first time Monday night on CBS. The fan-voted awards show was personally hosted by Ken Brown, who received the most nominations this year with four and actor Anthony Mackie. Brown stepped in after Kelsey Ballerini Tested positive for COVID-19. Ballerini, who was up for three awards, co-hosted the show and performed from her home.
Broadcast from Nashville, Tennessee, the show features performances by legendary mother-daughter duo Winona and Naomi Judd, Kenny Chesney, Jimmy Allen, Cody Johnson, Old Dominion and country music’s biggest stars.
