A McMaster Christmas

Canadian fiddle star Natalie McMaster brings her Celtic Family Christmas Show to Vernon on Nov. 16.

McMaster will play with fellow fiddle virtuoso Donnell Leahy on Nov. 16 at the Vernon Performing Arts Center.

The duo performs with their talented kids, playing Celtic and holiday favorites that are fun for the whole family.

“Christmas is where the whole idea started, and we’re so excited to be traveling as a family again,” Leahy said. “It’s a perfect time to travel with kids and bring light and happiness to families and fans across the country.”

The show will include a theatrical element that transcends time and continents while contextualizing the music and its players.

Get into the Christmas spirit with a lineup of familiar seasonal songs mixed with classic Celtic tunes.

McMaster is a member of the Order of Canada and has won two Juno Awards, 11 East Coast Music Awards and has been nominated for a Grammy Award.

Leahy is a three-time Juno winner with his self-titled, internationally acclaimed music/dance group Leahy and is widely known for his high-energy playing style.

Tickets for the Vernon show ($55.25) can be purchased by phone at 250-549-7469 or online at ticketseller.ca.
