Voting is open for the Mellon Music Awards (MMA) 2022!
On November 4, the Mellon Music Awards officially announced the nominees for this year’s awards ceremony, which will take place on November 26 at 6 PM KST. Only artists who released music between November 8, 2021 and November 3, 2022 were eligible for this year’s award.
Voting is now open for Mellon’s Top 10 awards, which will be awarded to 10 artists based 80 percent on their Mellon download and streaming counts and 20 percent on votes. Votes for the top 10 awards will also be automatically counted for the Artist of the Year award, which will be determined based on 60 percent of Mellan’s download and streaming count, 20 percent on judges’ ratings and 20 percent on votes.
Mellon votes for eight additional awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year, all of which will be determined based on the same 60-20-20 formula with one exception: Netizen popularity awards will be determined based on 40 percent of Mellon downloads and streaming counts. And 60 percent in the polls
Other awards not included in the online voting, such as Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year, will be determined solely based on the judges’ evaluations and Melon’s performance.

Voting will be open till November 18. Mellon users with verified accounts and South Korean residents with Kakao IDs can vote on the official Mellon Music Awards website here.
