Rapper Jack Harlow gave a stunning performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28th. The rapper took the stage in a mock airplane while performing his superhit song “First Class.” Fergie’s “Glamourous” is a sample of this song.

Jack Harlow joined Fergie on stage in a silver dress emblazoned with the words “First Class” in red. The song “First Class” was also awarded Song of the Summer at the awards show. While expressing her feelings about the song, Harlow said that people didn’t realize that “First Class” belonged in the hip-hop genre because of Fergie’s sampling. The song “Glamourous” was one of his childhood favorites, the rapper added.

Jack Harlow was also called to the stage to collect the award he won for his guest appearance on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby.” The song won for Best Collaboration. Interestingly, both Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow are tied for the same number of nominations at the awards show. Both singers are nominated in seven categories. The song, which was the result of the collaboration, topped several charts.

Nicki Minaj also delivered a stunning performance at the awards show. He performed in “Roman’s Revenge,” “Moments 4 Life,” “Chun-Li,” “Super Bas” and “Anaconda.” Minaj won the Video Vanguard Award at the show. The award is named after music legend Michael Jackson.

While accepting her award, Minaj paid tribute to music legends such as Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Whitney Houston and Kanye West. He also expressed his thoughts on the importance of mental health.

The award show was also graced with a surprise appearance by Johnny Depp. The actor climbs onto the stage from the ceiling dressed as an astronaut. Eminem, along with Snoop Dogg, also performed at the MTV Video Music Awards.
