Drake Throws Star-Studded Birthday Party! Designer, gives cash to guests

Drake celebrated his 36th birthday with a bang this year. A well-attended celebration was held on the evening of October 24 at Sexy Fish, an Asian restaurant in Miami.

Knowing the Canadian artist, it was a modest and star-studded affair. According to reports, several of his collaborators were in attendance, including 21 Savage, DJ Khaled and Lil Baby, Emily Salch, Genevieve Shawcross, Chaney Jones and more.

The now 36-year-old rapper reportedly gifted his guests with designer items like Chanel bags and even a Rolex watch. Many prizes awaited everyone, including $10,000 in cash and $5,000 worth of gift cards.

In addition to the actual cash, Drake had about $500 in bills printed with his face as party favors. Lil Yachty shared a photo of the wrong bill on his Instagram story. TMZ noted that the artist took a page from Usher’s “big money playbook.”

Champagne Papi was of course serving everyone overflowing wine and showering everyone with gifts, which was kind of ironic considering he was supposed to be the one receiving the gifts.

Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, arrived at the venue in a stunning lilac suit, dubbed the “sexy guy” for the night, reports said.

And before the celebration, he had a short moment with his family as his songstress, Adonic Graham, wished him “Happy Birthday.” The five-year-old was filmed by his mother Sophie Brussaux and the video was later uploaded by Drake to his Instagram Story.

Drake also introduced the world to his son through Instagram in 2020. Adonis was only two at the time, but he instantly captured the hearts of fans with his big doe-like eyes and curly hair.

Her birthday is just around the corner from Drake’s and she celebrated her fifth birthday last week, reports said. It was a superhero-themed party, a far cry from Drake’s glamorous Miami party, but eventful nonetheless.

Drake has made friends and contacts throughout the industry as he is not only a musician but also an actor and has worked in fashion. His successful career began in 2006 when he released his first mixtape “Room for Improvement”.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that he gave such an expensive gift as he is an entrepreneur with several business ventures going on, including entertainment production and a fragrance house.

As of this writing, he has won four Grammy Awards with 43 nominations. He holds 29 Billboard Music Awards and was nominated for Artist of the Decade at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

He is very successful and well known among his peers. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry including DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Future, Rihanna, Bad Bunny and Beyoncé.
