Canada’s Drake and The Weeknd are among the music stars nominated for the People’s Choice Awards this year.

Both are set for 2022’s The Male Artist alongside Bad Bunny, Charlie Puth, Harry Styles, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Luke Combs.

Drake’s “Jimmy Cooks” feat. 21 Savage is nominated for The Collaboration Song and is featured on Future’s “Wait For You” (with Thames), which is expected to be released in 2022.

Earlier this month, Drake and The Weeknd earned American Music Award nominations for Artist of the Year and Favorite Male Pop Artist. Drake has a total of six nominations and The Weeknd has earned five.

Other People’s Choice Awards nominees include Lizzo – who won the Female Artist, Social Celebrity, Album (special)songs (“About Most of the Time”) and competition shows (Lizzo’s Watch out for the Big Grrrls) – and Harry Styles, who is nominated for album in addition to male artist (Harry’s house), songs and music videos (“As It Was”) and concert tours.

BTS earned the name for the group, concert tour, and music video (“Yet to Come”). BTS’s Jung Kook also received recognition for his performance on Charlie Puth’s “Left and Right”, nominated for music video and collaboration song.

People’s Choice Award winners in the music, TV, film and pop culture categories are determined by online voting. Kenan Thompson will host the Dec. 6 broadcast.
