BMI congratulates its 2022 Billboard Latin Music Award nominees  the news

Nominees for the 29th annual Billboard Latin Music Awards have been announced with several BMI songstresses up for the prestigious trophy, including Karol G, who grabbed an impressive 15 nods in 11 categories – breaking the record for a female artist. Other top BMI nominees with multiple honors include Rau Alejandro, with 10 nods; 6 nods with Eslabón Armado; and Grupo Firm with five nominations.

The show, set for Sept. 29 at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, will air live on Telemundo and simulcast on Spanish entertainment cable network Universo and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo International. The event is the only awards show to honor Latin music’s most popular albums, songs and performers as determined by Billboard’s weekly charts.
