The 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs) have announced this year’s nominees!

Nominations for the 2022 AMAs were announced on October 13. According to Billboard, nominees are based on “key fan interactions,” including streaming, album sales, song sales, radio airplay and tour gross. Tracked by Billboard and Luminet (formerly MRC Data), the nominations cover the period between September 24, 2021 and September 22, 2022.

This year, six categories have been added or reintroduced to the American Music Awards, including the addition of Favorite K-Pop Artist! This means that five different K-pop artists are nominated for a 2022 AMA. In this category, the nominees are Blackpink, BTS, Seventeen, TXT and TWICE.

Additionally, BTS snagged a nomination for Favorite Pop Duo or Group for the fourth year in a row. They are nominated alongside Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, MΓ₯neskin, and OneRepublic.

The 2022 American Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21st at 10 a.m. KST!

Congratulations to all the nominees!
