On Tuesday, March 8, the four-decade-long tradition of the Austin Music Awards returns to celebrate the best and brightest locally sourced music of the past year.

Presented by the Society for the Preservation of Texas Music, Austin Chronicle, and Capital Metro, the first-ever storied show on EMO’s stage to raise money for the SIMS Foundation’s nonprofit artist. With performances from Money Chicha, Caroline Wonderland, Greyhounds, Dizzy Brown, Sir Woman and more, we’ve rounded up the top vote-getters in the Artist, Album and Instrumental categories.
