Jamshedpur, 15 July: Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has been ranked among the top 10 management institutions in the country, according to the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework.

According to the 2022 ranking released by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday, XLRI is overall the eighth best management study institution in India.

The list was topped by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad followed by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi took fourth place while the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode was ranked fifth.

The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and the Indian Institute of Management, Indore are ranked sixth and seventh respectively.

NIIE, Mumbai is in ninth position while Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is in 10th position.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has been ranked as the best educational institution in the country for four consecutive years.

Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has secured second place in the ranking, followed by IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi.

Among universities, IISc Bengaluru is followed by JNU in second place and Jamia Millia Islamia in third position.

IIT Madras is the best engineering college followed by IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.

Among pharmaceutical institutions, Jamia Hamdard has bagged the top rank. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad is the second best in the category while Panjab University, Chandigarh is in third place.

Five of the top ten colleges in the category are from Delhi with Miranda House topping the charts. Hindu College has bagged second place while Presidency College in Chennai is third.

AIIMS Delhi is the best medical college in the category followed by PGIMER, Chandigarh and CMC, Vellore.
