Indore (Madhya Pradesh): For students wishing to pursue an MBA program from Indore, there is good news as more than 2,500 seats have been upgraded at the B-schools here.

Many colleges offering PGDM courses have had seats converted to MBA course seats because the state government has not awarded scholarships for PGDM courses. This and the opening of two to three new B schools have led to an increase in MBA seats in the city.

Now, the number of MBA seats has reached nearly 9,500 seats in the city.

Currently, online centralized counseling to fill seats in MBA colleges is ongoing. The registration window for the second round of counseling closes on Saturday. Students can make corrections in their enrollment from until 5pm on October 3.

The general merit list will be released on October 6th and seat allotment will be made on October 11. Students who get seats will be required to deposit fees at the college until October 18th.

For the remaining vacant seats, two rounds of college-level counseling (CLC) will be conducted. In the first round of CLC, registration will take place on 19-21 October, and seat allotment will be made on 22 October. The second round of CLC will be held on October 23-25.

Last year, MBA seats remained vacant at several colleges. Now that seats are added, it will be difficult for colleges to ensure that all seats are filled.
