VARIOUS IDEAS FOR DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENTS
The MBA program at CSUN’s David Nazarian College of Business and Economics is proud of its students and alumni. Nazarian MBA students are accomplished professionals who represent a wide variety of backgrounds across a wide range of industries in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County and Ventura County areas. Graduate students view their MBA as a smart investment and have a desire to understand the business environment better and offer innovative insights.
FLEXIBLE RELEVANCE
Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 7:00 to 10:00, and sometimes Saturday. Students typically take two courses per semester and complete the MBA course in approximately 2.5 years. Some courses are offered as “HyFlex,” providing maximum flexibility for students traveling for work or with family obligations. This class modality means that students can attend class via video conferencing when this responsibility prevents attending class in person. Students reduce or accelerate their academic load according to career and family demands. Elective offerings focus on providing timely and relevant topics that help differentiate students in their workplace and add career value.
CONSULTATION TO PAY IT Ahead
Nazarian College MBA students not only learn, but they also pay for that knowledge by helping businesses as part of the peak experience in the Nazarian College Small Business Consulting Program. Through ongoing support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, a team of MBA students consults with and addresses the specific needs of small and nonprofit businesses in the region. As a result, students gain greater confidence and connections, paying for their investment going forward to society.
RECOGNITION OF GUIDANCE OBJECTIVES
Nazarian College’s MBA consulting team is recognized for producing high-quality projects. Two teams were recently awarded first place in the Small Business Institute Project of the Year 2022 competition.
