- Select “Options“
- Under “Playing“choose the”Cross-platform Matchmaking” option and turn it off.
- Select “OK” if prompted for confirmation
Disabling cross-platform matchmaking can help reduce the risks of encountering cheaters or advantaged players, but it will also increase your wait times. Since the queue only contains players from your own platform, it may take more time to find players to start the match.
Is there cross-progression between PlayStation, PC and Xbox?
Yes, you can play on any platform and the game automatically syncs the data and updates the games when you log in with a different platform.
But for rollover to actually work, the data must be stored on an online server or cloud storage. This is why you need to create an Epic Games account before starting, so that all your data is saved under that account.
You can go to the Epic Games website and link your Epic Games account to whatever platforms you want, be it Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo or even Steam. Once connected, you can easily log in on any device and find all your data and progress from one platform conveniently available on the other as well, and vice versa.
Your Epic Gaming Account: Universal Cloud Storage
As mentioned above, an Epic Games account is required for cross-platform gaming in Fall Guys. Without one, there will be no way to save your data across different platforms. In fact, each of your Xbox, PC, and PlayStation accounts will be treated as completely different until you connect them all through Epic Games.
Not only do you require this to save all your progress, but you also need this if you want to play cross-platform matches. This is because to add friends from different platforms, you have to enter their Epic Games usernames. Once you do that, you should be able to join each other and set up matches.
