A Warsaw resident was injured in a one-car accident in Benton County on Sunday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a westbound 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Travis B. Strong, 40, of Warsaw, was traveling on Route Z at Missouri 7 around 5:30 p.m. when the truck pulled over on the right side of the road. roadway and crashed into a fence.
His passenger, Richard D. McGill, 64, of Warsaw, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulant for treatment.

Patrol officers arrested Strong at 6:30 p.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and released.
