Dramatic finale of the auction season Bloc saw fan favorites Tom Calley and Sarah-Jane Wilson walk away with a paltry profit of just $20,000, one of the lowest grosses in the show’s history.
Taking to Instagram after the shocking result, Sarah Jane wrote: “Unfortunately for volume we’re going to have to sell the Ford,” referring to the $80,000 Ford Ranger they won during Landscape Week.

The couple added that they were undoubtedly “disappointed” with the end result.
But the story came to a head the day after the finale, when a mysterious GoFundMe page was set up in the couple’s honor to raise $1,586,670, ostensibly to help the family compensate for lost expenses.
However, Sarah-Jane responded on Instagram within hours to explain that the fundraiser was a scam and had nothing to do with them – it was later removed a few days later.

The social worker added that she was “thankful for what [they] have” and that GoFundMe fundraisers should be reserved for families in need.
The result for Sarah Jane and Tom was in stark contrast to the season’s winners, Sydney friends Omar Sleimankhel and Ozman Abu Malik, who took home a record $1.6 million.
