In addition to the launch of the Everest Sport RWD, Ford Australia has updated the rest of the Everest Sport range for the mid-2023 model year. For example, the Everest Platinum now comes standard with steel underbody protection and a black-painted roof. Everest Platinum customers can also opt for the Off-Road Pack for free, replacing the 21-inch wheels with 18-inch ones with off-road tires.

Ford Australia also said Everest Trend 4WD and Sport 4WD models produced from March 2023 will be available with the Touring package, which includes black roof rails, a 360-degree camera, zone lighting, a tow bar and an integrated trailer brake controller.

“The Everest Sport has proven to be a very popular model since we revealed the next-generation Everest range earlier this year,” Ford Australia president and chief executive Andrew Birkich said. “With the introduction of the Everest Sport RWD, we offer our customers more choice, with a very stylish vehicle that can tow a boat and accommodate the whole family safely and comfortably.”
