In Peninsular Malaysia, the new Ranger variant retails for RM98,888 on the road without insurance. For East Malaysians, the pick-up costs MYR 104,388 without insurance.
Engine
The all-new Ranger XL Single Cab Manual variant is powered by the proven 2.0-litre single-turbo diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 170bhp. at 3500 rpm along with a maximum torque of 405 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm.
The drive is transmitted to the wheels through a new 6-speed manual gearbox. Its value is evidenced by the fact that it took 4 years to develop, as well as a new set of gears for smooth shifting.
