Banquet. Booze. Box. Broadway Boxing returns Thanksgiving week in New York City and DiBella Entertainment is pulling out all the stops with dinner, a full bar, and world-class boxing in an intimate setting.
On Tuesday, November 22, International Boxing Hall-of-Famer Lou DiBella hosted a night of fun, drinks and gourmet food from the famous Edison Ballroom.
The 117th edition of the world’s longest-running boxing series will be headlined by rising junior welterweight contender “Marevous” Mykquan Williams (18-0-1, 8 KOs) and former Brooklyn world champion Mikkel “Slikk Mikk ” LesPierre (22-3) -1, 10 KOs), in the middle of the fight that will determine the future of both men. The two former Broadway boxers fought on the show 20 times between them.
Top undefeated American heavyweight prospect, Stephan “Big Shot” Shaw (17-0, 13 KOs), co-promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Top Rank, will be featured in the co-main event.
In his journey to the world championship, the heavyweight Shaw has knocked out seven of his last eight opponents, appearing on the most visible platforms, such as ESPN, NBC Sports Net and UFC Fight Pass.
