Pound-for-pound boxing legend Katie Taylor says they are always followed closely, with many fans especially eager for the 2012 Olympic champion to face her compatriot Amanda Serrano again.

Taylor won a decision against Serrano in New York in April 2022 to extend her unblemished record to 21 wins.

Now 36 years old, that win over Serrano was the biggest in a career that began for Taylor with her professional debut in 2016 and has continued to other major arenas in England and the United States.

When is Katie Taylor’s next fight?

Taylor faced Karen Carabajal in the 22nd fight of her career at the OVO Arena Wembley in London. Taylor has won the last two times she has competed there.

Argentina’s Carabajal has a perfect record and has registered 19 clean sheets.

The fight will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Ringwalks are expected to start at around 10pm BST/5pm ET.

Taylor won her first world title when she shared the WBA belt with Anahi Ester Sanchez on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s victory over Carlos Takam at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in October 2017.

Six months later, she lifted the IBF title by defeating Victoria Bustos at the Barclays Center in New York.

The WBO title followed less than a year later against Rose Volante in Philadelphia, and the WBC and The Ring also hailed Taylor’s previous victory, when she defeated Delfine Persoon in New York.
