American fighters Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis have each declared a fight between the pair “agreed” for sometime in 2023.
The lightweight fight, which has long been rumored to be possible, has been confirmed by each fighter to take place in Las Vegas.
Davis confirmed that he is already ready to fight in Washington DC on January 7, but the next fight will be against Garcia.
“I’ll be back in the ring Jan 7th stay tuned for more details! After that it’s me and Ryan signing the seal of approval… done deal!,” he said.
Garcia won the “best fight” in social media with the announcement.
“I’m very worried that this fight was the last – I love it more than anything now. I put in the work, I was at the beginning of my career, and I know I will be the best boxer in the world. This legacy starts today .
