Ricky Hatton confirms show is ‘last dance’ | Biden News


World Boxing News had an interview with the famous British boxer Ricky Hatton before the exhibition in Manchester on November 12.

“The Hitman” faces Marco Antonio Barrera in an exciting rematch between two of the greatest boxers from the past two decades.

Hatton is ready to put on a show for his home fans ten years after losing to Vyacheslav Senchenko at the same AO Arena. [then M.E.N Arena].

Asked if he was thinking of seeking Senchenko as his opponent in 2022 for revenge, Hatton told WBN: “No, I boxed him in a comeback fight for almost ten years until my exhibition date.

Hatton added that in preparation for more shows, “I’m just planning the last dance.

Asked what he expected from the evening, Hatton replied: “My hope is that everyone has a great night to remember for the right reasons.

“Natasha Jones is looking to unify her world title, Dalton Smith and Brad Rea, who are training at the gym for a title fight.

“Things like Frazer Clark are coming, then it’s on to the show.

“Dan Hardy and Diego Sanchez, that’s a great rivalry to watch. Then there’s me and Marco.

“I want the fans to go home saying it’s a great night, and if they’re happy, so am I,” said the two-weight world champion.
