His opponent Sakaria Lukas (25-1-1, 17 KOs) is a boxer who lacks hand speed, so he relies heavily on timing because he likes to work in the pocket and sit on the shot. Lukas uses very little movement because he is content to stay in front of his opponent. Ford is more of a clean boxer, but in his recent fights, he has shown that he has the ability to move forward and take on the offensive position.
The 38-year-old Sakaria Lukas has a lot of experience, but Raymond Ford has the advantage in terms of overall technique, hand speed, and the overall ring. Ford feels like he’s the better fighter, and he’s ready to prove it on Saturday night.
