The first round is close, with more technology to begin with. Bivol did not allow himself to be supported and was more than happy to stay in range with Ramirez. In the second, Ramirez landed a good round with several punches connecting to the head and body. Bivol has joined in the last moments with the combination. In the third round, Bivol was boxing hard around and catching Ramirez when he was coming in. Ramirez held her close. During the fourth round, Bivol hit Ramirez with a few punches in the first minute. In the ninth, Bivol boxed well and hit Ramirez with a combination to the head and body. Bivol looked to take the round in ten, with Ramirez doing most of the work and going to the body.

In the eleventh, Bivol was more active and was landing right punches to the head when Ramirez would get close. During the twelfth and final round, Bivol outclassed Ramirez, who was doing his best to come forward to turn around. Ramirez appeared shaken at one point from a series of punches as Bivol lit him up with combinations.
