Paul Gallen’s ultimatum for Justin Hodges rematch | Biden News

Paul Gallen has demanded that his next fight against Justin Hodges last six rounds of three minutes each or he will not continue with the event.

Gallen and Hodges clashed for the first time since September’s Rumble, which was four rounds of two minutes each.

Reports that Hodges was considering legal action against the referee who stopped him in the first match were rubbished by Gallen, who said he wanted different terms for the replay.

“Everything he said was ridiculous,” Gallen said, adding that he followed all of the referee’s pre-fight instructions.

“We are doing a 6×3 minute round this time, even if the fight didn’t happen, that’s how it will be. Everything he said is ridiculous. I’m happy to testify on behalf of the judge. He said before the game we can play a game. . whenever we want, the only time we can’t punch is when the referee calls a foul or when it’s between us.

“When the referee interrupted the phone call, he came between us, I went back, I looked at him, you hit me with your right hand and after five seconds you hit me on the back of the head and threw me. . Did I cry, cry or moan about it?”

“We either do it right or we don’t do it at all,” Gallen added.

Meanwhile, more than a year after turning down a Tim Tszyu fight, Michael Zerafa will return to No Limit Boxing as the main event on the Gallen-Hodges card on November 23rd.

It’s a surprise for Zerafa and No Limit, who vowed not to have the Victoria fighter on one of their cards again after Zerafa pulled out of a fight with Tim Tszyu last July.

Speaking at a press conference to promote the fight on Wednesday, Zerafa, who took on undefeated Italian Danilo Creati, asked host Ben Damon about his desire to return to the No Limit card.

“They’re doing the best show in Australia and they’re getting to the world soon. Thanks to the boys for getting me back. I’m back where I belong, back on TV and back to doing my thing.”

He was then scolded by Damon, who asked him if he was going to fight this time.

Zerafa said “That’s not a small injury. I’ll get up and once I hit Creati I can come and hit you. As Gallen burst out laughing.
