Former world champion Floyd Mayweather plans to fight again in 2023.

Mayweather retired from the sport in 2017, with a 50-0 undefeated record, after stopping UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a major sporting event.

In December 2018, Mayweather held his first exhibition match, when he traveled to Japan to knock out Tenshin Nasukawa in one round. It is Mayweather’s first time abroad.

Mayweather will make his next show in June 2021, going the distance of eight rounds with social media star Logan Paul in Florida.

The Hall of Famer has already participated in two exhibition fights in 2022 – a long-distance trip with partner Don Moore in Abu Dhabi in May and then a trip to Japan to stop MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in two rounds in the month of September.

Mayweather, 45, will make his third exhibition of the year this coming Sunday in Dubai, when he will take on Youtuber Deji.

Already looking ahead, Mayweather is currently in talks with promoters, Keane Anis and Global Titans, to hold a February show in the UK.

“The good thing about this fight is, we can come together. And actually, Keane from FrontRow and Global Titans, he talked to me and what is February? February we are looking forward to. [to the UK] and putting on a show for the fans in the UK,” said Mayweather.

“Because I didn’t get to come here [to the UK] and actually fighting here when I’m really fighting. Hopefully in February we can come here and do the exhibition if possible. “
