Bantamweight contender, Eros Correa (12-1, 8 KOs), discussed his upcoming fight with Luis Fernando Saavedra (9-7, 3 KOs), of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, in a ten-round fight that will work as the main event. on Thompson Boxing’s “New Blood” card.

Here’s what WBA #14 contender Eros Correa had to say about his recent training camp, his match with Saavedra, and more.
On his recent training camp:
“I had a good camp in Las Vegas and I had a great job with a lot of great fighters there, which helped a lot. I pushed myself to uncomfortable places every day and I stopped enjoying training at home in San Jose . I want to give myself the best chance to win, so I finished the last days of the training camp in Las Vegas. I want to be a world champion, and this camp is a world championship.”
In his next match with Luis Fernando Saavedra:
“You can’t look at anyone, and I consider this fight with Saavedra as if it is the biggest fight of my career, because I am in the WBA.
