Split-T Management fighters David Navarro and Joseph Hicks Jr. won the second round Friday night at Ballys Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

Their fight is part of an unaired SHOBOX card: The New Generation Card

Navarro of Los Angeles stopped Luis Domingo Hernandez in two rounds of their six-round featherweight bout.

The 22-year-old Navarro hurt Hernandez in the second frame after landing a punch.

Navarro was able to finish the fight at 1:02 to raise his record to 5-1 with a knockout. Hernandez falls to 14-7-1.

Hicks also knocked out Luis Solis in the second round of a six-round middleweight bout.

Hicks of Grand Rapids, Michigan landed a hard connection that sent Solis to the floor, and the fight was stopped at 2:52 of round three.

Hicks continues his perfect streak as he is now 3-0 with a strikeout.

Hicks said his brief encounter with Solis was a learning experience.

“I’ve learned to try to warm up in the dressing room before I come out. I didn’t feel warm in the first round, but other than that, I’m ready for whatever comes next.

Hicks was a fan favorite where he was named the Captain of Team USA Boxing, the 2019 National Golden Gloves Champion.

Solis is 25-15-4.
