Conor McGregor has put the UFC’s top fighters on notice, and he’s had an unexpected challenge in the process.

Conor McGregor has been out of action for a while as he recovers from his broken leg. Even though he was on the sidelines, that didn’t stop him from raising any problems. McGregor has engaged in Twitter feuds with nearly every fighter in his division and others outside of it over the past few weeks. Now, he stands up to prove that he is the best boxer.

“I’ve knocked out 3 guys on this list! No one comes close to my boxing in the ufc,” McGregor he wrote on Twitter. “Though Dustin only got a shot after the leg damage. Everyone pulls me out if we’re going to box. He’s good tho, I like his style. I’m going to rip him in that bullet tho.”

McGregor’s claim to the best boxer in the UFC comes from the list above which has Petr Yan at #1, Max Holloway at #2, McGregor at #3, José Aldo at #4, and Nate Diaz at # 5. McGregor has won three of the four fights in the series. He knocked out José Aldo in 13 seconds, but the other two, Diaz and Holloway, scored against him.

He also took aim at the #1 man on this list, Petr Yan. Yan answered.

“Conor, we all know you want to talk, but let’s get to the point. If you really want to box or fight, I don’t care about weight or rules. I hope you don’t come out.” @TheNotoriousMMAHe wrote

“Lol, no problem littler. We’ll set up a spar or something soon. She’ll host you and your team in Ireland for one of our matches at the Crumlin Boxing Club. We’ll figure it out, kid. God bless you . @ParimatchGlobalget that set up,” McGregor said.

“Mama, we can play if you don’t really want to make a decision. Just let me know if you’ll have enough gas for 12 rounds, boy. Sláinte,” Yan replied.

McGregor’s last two fights didn’t go his way and with some time left before his return, a Twitter chat might be the best way to get his teammates fired up. The Irishman’s featherweight methods always seem to work, and this issue of boxing credentials has caused a lot of confusion lately.
