Canelo Shows Interest in Oleksandr Usyk Fight | Biden News

By Sean Jones: Canelo Alvarez is expressing interest in fighting IBF/WBC/WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, saying he wants a “challenge.”

Unfortunately for fans, the odds of Canelo getting a fight with Usyk are slim to none he pulled out a wonderful upset WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol. I don’t think Canelo will do anything other than Bivol to humiliate me again and probably knock me out.

It would be a good idea for Canelo to keep focusing on Bivol because he will be embarrassed even worse than when they fought.

The two are expected to fight on Cinco de Mayo, and Canelo (58-2-2, 39 KOs) could get schooled even worse than he did the first time around last May.

Despite being two divisions above Canelo, undefeated heavyweight champion Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) has put the Mexican star on his list of fighters he wants to face before he retires. Usyk recently revealed Canelo and Tyson Fury as who he wants to face.

“Everyone will want to fight me. It is not new. Usyk is a great fighter, he is in a boat, and he goes up. I am a fighter who loves a challenge; he wants to feel dangerous in the ring. What gives adrenaline,” said Canelo Alvarez to Bet365.mx about Oleksandr Usyk.

As long as Usyk agrees to fight Canelo with him who won the second time against Bivol, it’s a two-way fight, but I don’t see him as someone they can do. to publicize the boxing on DAZN or whatever platform it’s on.

If Canelo knew what was good for him, he would focus on facing the winner of the March fight between David Benavidez and Caleb Plant.

Canelo should leave talents like Bivol and Usyk alone because they are better fighters in terms of boxing. It has nothing to do with Canelo’s lack of size which will sink his ship against Usyk & Bivol. The Mexican star does not have the technical skills to beat fighters like them.

Canelo has been successful with his punches and punches all these years, but now that he’s paired with fighters with more technical skills, he’s emerging as the fighter he’s always been.
