when is Oscars 2023? How can I watch the Oscars 2023? The Oscars 2023 are set to air live on Sunday, March 12, 2023 on ABC! With a focus on expertise in live television event production, Glenn Weiss And Ricky Kirshner White Cherry Entertainment has been named executive producer of the 95th Oscars®, Academy CEO Bill Kramer announced today. For the eighth consecutive year, Weiss will also host the show, which will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 12, 2023. This will be Weiss’ second and Kirshner’s first Oscar production. A dynamic creative team has been assembled to work with Weiss and Kirshner to help shape Oscar’s vision and direction, including:
– Red-Carpet Show Executive Producer David ChamberlinA veteran of live television production
– Red Carpet Creative Consultant Lisa Love And Raul AvilaCreative contributor and creative director for the Met Gala, respectively
– Creative Director and Academy Member Kenny GravilisWho created the iconic key art and campaigns for the film’s forces

Weiss has hosted numerous live televised events, including seven previous Oscar shows, for which she won two Primetime Emmys.®and 21 Tony Awards® show, which earned him three directing and nine producing primetime Emmys. He has won eight DGA Awards for his work at the Oscars and Tonys. Weiss’ additional directing credits include last year’s multinetwork opening night special, “Celebrating America”; “The Democratic National Convention,” “The Kennedy Center Honors,” “Primetime Emmy® Awards,” “American Music Awards,” “BET Awards,” “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” “Academy of Country Music Awards” and more.
Kirshner has more than 30 years of entertainment production experience and has produced shows for every major network. He has received 26 Emmy nominations and won nine Emmy Awards, one Peabody Award and one Edward R. Maro won the award. Kirshner’s credits include the most-watched and award-winning television specials, including the Tony Awards, 14 Super Bowl halftime shows, “A Night of Stars,” “The Primetime Emmy Awards,” “The Democratic National Convention,” presidential inaugurations. And many more.
Chamberlin will return for the fourth consecutive year to executive produce ABC’s “Oscars Red Carpet Show,” the official live lead-in to the 95th Oscars broadcast. Chamberlin leads Full Day Productions, with credits including “Savage x Fenty Show,” “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” multiple “30 for 30” films, “Monday Night Football,” with Peyton and Eli, NFL Honors and ESPY Awards.
Love and Avila will team up for the first time to reimagine the Oscars red-carpet aesthetic and guest experience. Avila is the creative director of the Met Gala, and Love is a creative contributor overseeing various aspects of the event. They led the creative team for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ 2021 and 2022 galas.
Gravilis joins the team for the first time for the original art concept for this year’s Oscars marketing campaign. His design agency, Gravillis Inc., Free Solo recently rebranded Orion Pictures and created iconic key art and campaigns for a host of movies including “Dune,” “Summer of Soul,” “Bards of Prey,” “Queen & Slim,” “BlackKkKlansman,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” ” ,” “Iris” and more. A member of the Academy’s marketing and public relations department, Gravillis also created posters and collateral materials for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ retail store.
Buckley and Billingsley joined the team as production designers for the first time – and also the first female-led design team – for the 95th Oscars. Buckley has designed world tours and productions for artists such as Ariana Grande, Kacey Musgraves and Coldplay, including the band’s Super Bowl halftime show. He has designed the 2021 GRAMMYS, the London 2012 Paralympic closing ceremony, the 2015 Rugby World Cup opening ceremony, the 2022 Commonwealth Games ceremony, the Brit Awards and numerous television productions for the BBC and ITV. Buckley earned a BAFTA nomination for his work with Stormzy at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival and an Emmy nomination for the 2021 GRAMMYS and production design for Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Live!” Billingsley was an art director on six previous Oscar broadcasts, for which he earned five Emmy nominations and won two Emmys. Extra credit included “The Kennedy Center Honors,” “The Primetime Emmy Awards,” “The Grammys,” “CMA Awards,” “BET Awards” and Numerous other live television productions.
The 95th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Dolby® Ovation will be televised live in theaters in Hollywood and on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
