Travis Scott, Ed Sheeran, Becky G and the team of Ellie King and Miranda Lambert have been added to the performance lineup for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.
The BBMAs will air live coast-to-coast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 15, at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT on NBC, and will stream live on Peacock. Hosted by Sean “DD” Combs, the show will honor artists of the year Billboard Chart in 62 categories.
This is Scott’s first awards show performance since 10 people were killed during his performance at the Astroworld festival in Houston in November. Nominated for Top Latin Female Artist of 2021, the singer is currently enjoying her first No. 1 BillboardIts hot Latin song with “MAMIII”, a collaboration with Karol G.
As previously announced, Mary J. Blige will receive the Billboard Icon Award and perform at the show. Other performers include the Red Hot Chili Peppers (their first BBMAs performance since 1999), Silk Sonic (their first since winning four Grammys for record and song in April), and Morgan Wallen (her first awards show performance) en- He was barred from attending and performing at various events in 2021 after being caught on camera uttering the phrase).
