Fire Fist Boxing Promotions’ Yamaguchi “Trouble” Falcao and Willian “Babyface” Silva won an exciting fight on Saturday, October 29 in Lowell, MA.

The card was promoted by Reyes Boxing Promotions as part of their “Down and Dirty” fight series. Falcao and Silva are promoted by Fire Fist Promotions.

Falcao retained his NABA Gold, WBC Latino and WBC Feconsur middleweight titles with a ten round decision win over veteran Alex Tehran. Falcao, a native of Brazil who lives in Florida, beat Teheran from bell to bell.

The score was 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92 for Falcao, who went 23-1-1 with 9 goals and a free kick.

Heavyweight Willian “Babyface” Silva bounced back, landing three punches in the first round before unleashing a perfect straight right hand to knock out Carlos Gaston Suarez late in the second round.

In 2018, Suarez went four rounds against future unification champion and 10-pound top contender Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev.

Silva, 29-4 (17 KO’s), looks like a new fighter as he re-enters the heavyweight division.

“Yama and Willian did well,” said Jody Caliguire of Fire Fist Promotions.

“Yama really hurt Teheran and I thought he was going to retire in his seat but I give him credit for going ten rounds. Willian and (head trainer) Jim McLaughlin have focused this camp on fighting hard.

“He’s a much better fighter than what many fight fans remember seeing in some of the big fights at 135 and 140.”

The match between Falcao and Silva will be announced shortly.
