Another fight, another victory for Jesus Arechiga.

She was undefeated last Friday night, defeating goalkeeper Florentino Perez by unanimous decision at Gimnasio German Ever in Arechiga’s hometown of Mazatlan. Mexico.

Scores were 100-92, 99-93 and 98-94 for Arechiga, who moved to 18-0, 14 knockouts.

The short Perez was game, but the more experienced Arechiga outplayed Perez throughout the fight. As the fight progressed, Perez fought more and more in a live stance while Arechiga boxed more.

The win over Perez comes almost five months after the 22-year-old stopped veteran striker David Reyes Cota in the fourth round. In his previous fight, Arechiga stopped Jose Valdes Bernal, also in the fourth round.

Perez, who lives in Monterrey, Mexico, is down to 14-8-2, 9 KOs. He has now lost his last four fights, including losses to Eduardo Baez, Alan Picasso, and, most recently, Luis Nunez.
